{"id":79,"date":"2013-11-18T18:38:39","date_gmt":"2013-11-18T18:38:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iainhamilton.co.uk\/?p=79"},"modified":"2013-11-18T18:39:12","modified_gmt":"2013-11-18T18:39:12","slug":"omelette","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iainhamilton.co.uk\/?p=79","title":{"rendered":"Omelette"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>2 eggs<\/p>\n<p>salt &amp; pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 chopped tomato and 1 chopped onion (about half of the tomato and quarter of the onion)<\/p>\n<p>25 &#8211; 50g of grated chedder<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Method<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Whisk the eggs.<\/p>\n<p>Add salt and pepper to whisked eggs.<\/p>\n<p>Heat a small omelette pan until very hot and add a tablespoon of sunflower oil.<\/p>\n<p>pour in eggs and using a spatula turn cooked egg from side of pan while redistributing uncooked eggs from top to the sides until the eggs don&#8217;t run no more.<\/p>\n<p>Should take about 20 &#8211; 30 seconds in a really, really hot pan.<\/p>\n<p>put tomato, onion and cheese on top of omelette and fold over so it looks like an eggy pasty<\/p>\n<p>serve by tilting the pan onto a plate and letting it slide out.<\/p>\n<p>I like to add Tomato ketchup at this point but you can add anything you like. Except a sprig of parsley.
