2 – 3 tbl spoons Hot Chilli Powder (depends how hot you want it) 2 is mild 3 is hot
1.5 tbl spoons Smoked/Non Smoked Paprika
2 tbl spoons Ground Cumin
2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
1 teaspoon Salt
Put all ingredients in a small airtight container and shake it.
about 5-6 teaspoons per 8 small burrito being made or 4 large.
Example recipe with Quorn Mince.
Mince 2 cloves of garlic and a medium Onion and fry in a large pan for a couple of minutes until translucent.
Add 150g frozen Quorn Mince
Fry for around 8 minutes, stirring all the time.
Add the 5-6 teaspoons of the spice mix and stir into the mince.
Add 2 tbl spoons of Tomato Puree
Add 150ml of hot water.
Stir well and allow to reduce thoroughly for 5 minutes on a low heat. While that is happening slice some lettuce, tomato. Grate some cheese, open some mild salsa and warm some tortilla wraps (4 large or 8 small).
Assemble the burrito in the wrap, (Lettuce, mince, cheese,tomato, salsa) and wrap.
